Joe is a skilled woodworker with a passion for transforming locally sourced wood—elm, walnut, cherry, maple, and ash—into stunning, hand-crafted bowls. Using a repurposed lathe, he meticulously shapes each piece, ensuring every creation is both food-safe and one-of-a-kind.
With a problem-solving mindset and an innate ability to fix, repair, and build anything, Joe has spent his career in the Wood Brothers family drywall business. Now, in this next chapter, he brings that same craftsmanship and creativity to woodworking, embracing the challenge of every new piece he creates.
Beyond the workshop, Joe is a devoted family man and a professional Grandpa to eight little buddies. Whether he's four-wheeling, playing mini sticks, tinkering with machinery, or building boats to race in the pond, he finds joy in creating memories and passing down his love for hands-on craftsmanship.
For Joe, woodworking isn’t just about the final product—it’s about the journey, the materials, and the stories behind each piece.
Allison is a textile artist with a passion for crafting! She hand-weaves each basket with love and care, making all of her work unique and one-of-a-kind. After being briefly introduced to the craft of basket weaving as part of her Grade 9 curriculum at the Toronto Waldorf School, she took up the lost art as a hobby and quickly fell in love with it. While completing her high school studies, Allison continued to grow her company, teaching beginner weaving workshops and selling her work at local Farmers markets and shops. Currently, Allison is honing her skills in textile art through the Material Art and Design program at OCAD University in Toronto, while continuously growing her business.
